Pricing.
Price is by far the most common question. Below I have listed my rates for some of the design services that I offer. For a complete, standards compliant website I charge a flat rate of $3200. This includes the design of the site along with the HTML/PHP code to provide proper functionality. Nearly all sites fall under this price category, but in very few instances the complexity of the project may incur additional cost. If you are interested in getting a quote tailored specifically to your needs please send me a message.

The Design Process.
All projects that I take on are created in Adobe Creative Suite 3. The creative process may begin with a few traditional paper sketches, but ultimately is completed using the robust Adobe software package. At this point I provide the client with a mockup of the design for approval.
Coding: The Next Step For Websites.
Upon approval, next comes the HTML coding for the content, which is followed by the CSS for the layout. This is all accomplished in a standard text editor to provide clean, standards compliant code. Finally, any necessary programming (PHP) is completed.

Who Is js9design?
NAME: Jeff Sarris
LOCATION: Chicagoland Area
For some time graphic design has been a hobby of mine. It all started way back in the days of Windows 95 when I purchased a photo editing application called LivePix. I had a blast with that program. The main focus of the application was for photo editing, which is something that opened up many possibilities for me creatively. Any ideas that I had, such as placing a friend onto a popular magazine cover, was possible with this software.
Jump ahead to today. My unending quest for learning and love for technology has lead me to a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master of Science degree in Computer Network Systems. Although these are purely technical degrees, my passion for graphic design continues on through js9design.
